Step4ward Services offer placements to young people who are considered in need of some support to manage themselves towards independence. The service is based on the idea, that young people will be able to work with the staff and other people who use the service to reach their goals. We make a particular point of encouraging and enabling young people to access and join in with the community.
The 16+ team is a dedicated group of individuals who will work alongside young people to offer support and guidance in all the key areas needed to help prepare for adult life. These people have been carefully chosen because they are specially trained and interested in helping young people make the steps from being ‘ looked after’ to leaving care and achieving independence.
Independent Living is controlling and directing life the right way, exercising the greatest degree of choice about where to live, with whom to live and how to live. We are here to direct all Young People throughout their way.
